WELCOME!

The Springfield Pickleball Club provides members the opportunity to play pickleball with one another, and promotes the sport within our community. We welcome you to join us during one of the weekly open play events to meet and play with other pickleball enthusiasts!

New to pickleball? SPC hosts "beginner play" every Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. from May through August at Iles Park. No equipment or knowledge of pickleball is needed... just come ready to have fun! SPC members are on hand to provide instruction, and pair you with an experienced player to help you learn the basics.

Want to join the club?  Click on the "JOIN SPC" tab above. ↑

Then click on "Waiver" and read the "Release and Waiver of Liability"

Then click on the “membership application" link to complete the process.

You can pay your 2025 Membership Dues via the website, or if you prefer to send a check in, then click the "Invoice Me" option, and mail a check to:  The SPC, P.O. This year we will not be doing parking at the State Fair but rather we will have a Pickleball fun day at the fair which will include a small tournament, pickleball instruction and a challenge courts.

DILL-INOIS STATE FAIR Pickleball Showdown will be held on August 16th at the Orr Building. Registration coming soon.  Also, the Illinois State Fair and the Springfield Rec Dept would like to share the attach discount for 20% off at Academy Sports and Outdoors June 20 - June 22.

I would like to know how full courts are especially in the evening hours. If those of you playing at Iles and Duncan could just send me a text, I would appreciate it.  Lindy 217-415-8686

Tournament season is heating up:  This year there will be tournaments specially designed for players 3.5 and below.  Hopefully this will encourage some of you to come out and test your skills in a non-threatening environment.

June 21-22 is Chatham Strong.  Help raise money for the families of our resent tragedy.

July 17-20 is our own Scheels Capital City Classic.  This is our clubs 4-day summer celebration & major fund-raiser of the year.  Come and support the efforts of the Springfield Pickleball Club.

Sign up ends July 1.  At our current number of entries, we will not be able to have our tournament.

Sign up for all three of these events by logging in to Scheels/Capital City Classic Pickleball Tournament

Upcoming Events

May is here and with that Iles park will be open for Beginners class every Wednesday evening from 5-7 PM.

This is a great environment for friends and family members that have wanted to learn how to play pickleball and to do so in a relaxed and informative setting.  We encourage anyone wanting to help with instructions to come out & help.

We could also use some additional paddles so if you have any old ones laying around and would be willing to donate them to the club, they would be greatly appreciated.
